Daysha Broadway, ACE, is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning film and television editor who has over 15 years of experience working professionally in documentary, scripted, and unscripted television.

A Los Angeles native, Daysha's credits include the box office hit Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody and numerous television shows such as How to Die Alone, Insecure, A Black Lady Sketch Show, 9-1-1, Twenties, and Boomerang. In addition, she has contributed her talents to documentary features such as Surviving R. Kelly for Lifetime.

Daysha was awarded a Peabody for her work on Surviving R Kelly, and in September 2021, Daysha and the editing team of A Black Lady Sketch Show became the first all-women of color team to win a Primetime Emmy Award in the field of editing. The team won the award for Outstanding Picture Editing in a Variety Series for A Black Lady Sketch Show. In that same year, Daysha was nominated for an ACE Eddie Award for the same title.

 

In 2023, Daysha was awarded the Sundance Institute's Sally Menke Fellowship. Her next project is the Sundance Audience Award 
Winner, "Your Monster" due to be released in theaters on October 25th.
